SLKWRM is on a mission to introduce modern silk loungewear to a sustainably conscious audience. We partnered with this Sydney-based start-up from the early stages of the brand’s inception, guiding them through brand strategy and identity, to the design of premium-quality loungewear.
BRAND STRATEGY
Our foremost objective was to develop a comprehensive brand strategy. We established the fundamentals of the brand and vetted its unique selling points and market positioning. We researched SLKWRM’s audience and  conducted workshops and surveys to validate our direction, before polishing the brand’s personality and tone of voice.
BRAND IDENTITY
Teaming up with Merilla Angie Studio, we crafted a captivating visual identity. Expressing the luxury, elegance and drape of silk, while maintaining a youthful upbeat quality was our main objective. The branding elements needed to be highly considered, ensuring seamless transferability from physical products to digital applications.
APPAREL DESIGN
Designing and developing the inaugural collection is a significant milestone for any start-up. At Ume Studio, our focus was on creating a product range that captures the core essence of SLKWRM, serving as a foundational line for future expansion. Emphasizing modern loungewear shapes and rich colours, we dedicated ourselves to crafting elevated silk staples tailored for a youthful, forward-thinking audience.
